Any 190 2.6 racers?

Im trying to find one of two cars. Either a 89-91 BMW 325i or a 86-93 Mercedes 190 2.6 both in manual. Now number wise the cars are very similar. About same hp, tq, weight, Rwd, and displacement. However I dont know a whole lot about 190s. So I was just wondering if their are any 190 racers or tuners on here?

Re: Any 190 2.6 racers?

One more thing. I want a 190E but what is the best engine? Im looking for a 2.6 right now but I hear alot about the 2.5? Here in america the 2.5 is a diesel and only makes like 90 something hp. So I dont get why people would use it. Is their another 2.5 that they never sold in america?

the 2.5 they are referring to is the 16 valved model, which also come in the more common 2.3-16v. The 16vs are alot easier to find with manual gearboxes and have the advantage of a DOHC. check out www.190revolution.net for more in-depth information on 190s.
