Window Motor or Switch

I have a 98 Grand Prix Se. About 5 months ago I purchased a a new drivers side window motor w/ regulator. About a week or so ago my passanger side widow just stopped in the half way up mode. I don't think its the motor because it will move slightly and I hear a noise. Now my drivers side window is stuck in the down position. It will not let up. Could the motor have gone out that fast. Could it be the switches for both windows??

Help hot in Texas!!

Unhappy I di it!

Well, I tried it myself. Heres what happended. It was not the motor it was the switch. I took the door panel off & I did here a noise so I knew it had to be the switch. I moved the wires around & nothing happended. I pressed & pressed and up it went. I let it up & down once more and it stopped. Once back in the up position I quit. Later that day I had forgotten all about the damaged switch & what did Dumb I do? Hit the button & let it down again. Now its stuck again. Auto Zone sells the switch for $69. I think I will try the junk yard. Not results on the passanger side window yet.
