Unhappy Any and All Reputable Importing Companies

I'm new here, so let me introduce, I'm YouthfulLad hi!

Ok, I have 2 jobs and am saving everydime for the next year, maybe a year and a half. I know I'll have at least $20,000 in that time. I looked at Motorex and saw that you can import a '90 r32 gts for $18,000...not a gtr, but we can still work on getting that power up there. I was just wondering what other GOOD companies are out there that also offer this service? Because I have heard that motorex is a little overpriced, is this true? Also, I have seen 2 types of r32, one with a grill and one with a longer hood to cover where the grill would be, what's the deal with this little difference? I totally like the grill better...

Thanx for helping me out.

Re: Re: Any and All Reputable Importing Companies

I voted for 2fast 2furious but that dosent mean I like the movie just the car thats it! I say J-garage,komies,monkys & ACE motors and then have them contact motorex however motorex isnt legalizen shit now so its jus a big blunder on your part if you importin now unless you buy a used legalized skyline. Any other ?'s let me know.

Re: Any and All Reputable Importing Companies

Cool, thanx for all the places. Damn, so they don't legalize anymore. Good thing I haven't bought one yet, I had a chance to get an "off-road" aka non-legalized R32 gtst, glad I was 2 grand short, it might have been a bigger mistake than a blessing. Well, now I guess I just gotta wait a year and pray that I can find something. I want an R33, but I think I might have to settle for an R32.
And, for me the R33 wins. I just put the 2fast and initial D thing in there to be funny. I know so many people who just say, "I like the car in 2Fast!" Or others that only know about the R32 because of Initial D, one kid didn't even know they made anything after the R32, he just thought the anime was new here, so they car must be too. I laughed when I told him Skylines have been around for 30 years.

I cant stand when peopel relate the car to 2f2f argh it makes me mad. The skyline has been out since the late 60's I believe.

Well, yes and no. The Nissan Skyline has only been around for about 30 years. The Prince Skyline has been around since the '60s or earlier. Nissan absorbed Prince in '66, but didn't start making their vehicles until '67. But, the Prince Skyline (GT-B not yet GT-R) still rocks the sox off most other cars of that time, it was incredibly advanced, and looked great too. Nissan just made a good thing better.

Re: Any and All Reputable Importing Companies

I swear, no matter how much you hate it, you have to admit.....80% of the American population, when at first unsure of what a Nissan Skyline is, will respond positively to: "Remember the silver car from the beginning of 2f2f?"

I promise you, at least once a day, I have to use that line. It only hasn't worked a few times. Enough times that I can remember each instance individually.

Re: Any and All Reputable Importing Companies

I'm in the same boat as u but I'm in Canada there's a site www.importconcern.ca and they have Skyline's listed for about 13000-17000 but that is CAD I don't know how much shipping would be to get it to u but I think U would still be saving a lot of money.

Re: Any and All Reputable Importing Companies

They can't legalize 1996 R33, or an R34....
EVOIMPORTS does not do this legally, or at least, they HAVE not previously. Whether they start to do it or not, I don't know.....But be VERY WARY of anyone saying they can get a 96+ R33 or R34 legalized.
If you don't know why check the stickies and almost every other thread about this topic.
