Re: carbon fiber hood?

yup if its a 5th gen theyre already sexy so u don't have to do too much to it but a nice set of rims would have much more of an impact.

Re: carbon fiber hood?

i'd have to agree with spending your money else where first. drop it or by something for the engine. later on a carbon fiber hood may help for weight reduction...

Re: carbon fiber hood?

i wouldn't say it's mostly for show. you do shave off almost 20lbs with the right hood. not to mention you're taking that much weight off the front of the car. which, in theory, should neutralize the handling a bit more. some people say they have felt that difference, but i find it hard to believe it makes that much of a difference at all. but i do agree, put your money elsewhere first.

Re: carbon fiber hood?

I will be honest with you guys, a CF hood with a scoop happens to be on my mods waiting list. I suspect there will be a small degree of engine cooling as well as a minimal weight reduction.

Re: carbon fiber hood?

if u want the hood then go for it. i extremely recomend ViS, they have the best quality hoods...double sided n rolled edges. i have the invader, it espeacially looks good on 4th gens(92-96)
