What does "PONTIAC" Stand for???
Everyone has probably heard the saying that PONTIAC stands for "Poor Old Nerd Thinks Its A Cadillac" I put nerd in to replace another less appropriate word. But either way, i dont like that saying, so since im bored i think we should all come up with something... heres mine... this one is to my friends who all think their 115 hp imports are fast...
Pontiac Owners Notice That Imports Are Crap ... now everyone else try... i want a good one to tell my friends next time they make fun of my "domestic automatic" as they call it... even though it can spank their cars 40 times over |

AnYone that drives a rice burner should move to Japan or Korea. Is Singer still making the motors for them?
If the money isn't going to a American company, I'm not buying it.

Re: What does "PONTIAC" Stand for???
Honda, Toyota and Nissan, as well as BMW and Mercedes among others are all investing more money into the US auto industry than Ford and GM combined, who are actauly moving away from US designed and built models, chossing instead to use thier european design houses and mexican or canadian manufactoring plants to build cars for the US market.
And when you buy a car from almost any manufactor now days the money goes to the manufactor and its parent company, not the country its from. Buying an American built Honda Civic is better for America than buying a Mexican built Ford truck. We don't need import vs domestic debates, they are based on old and unfounded beliefs.
