??510 w/ka24 questions??

im thinking of buying a 510 that has a ka24de. now my question is can i just take out the ka24 & swap in a ca18det? are there any modifications i would have to make to perform this swap, ie: mounts, harness, ecu... thanks for all your help.

i can probly help you with the sr20 swap on the 510... hit me up..... as far as the KA on a 510 i think its a good enough setup... what do u want to do with your 510? the car is light enough that it makes the KA and awesome motor for it.... if you want to turbo it, there are a lot of turbo kits for the KA...

Wat is required for a SR20 swap? Some guy said its easier do u get a front clip with it too?

Um Do you have a 510 already? No i didnt get a front clip. I just bought the engine witht the tranny. That is actually a harder route since its difficult to wire the car yourself. So get the clip and find a shop that will fabricate the engine mounts for the SR... This saw is a difficult process, you will need a lot of help from people who know what they are doing. Lots of fabrication is involved. good luck if you have anymore questions just ask....

Yes, took more than 3 years to do... most of it is lack of funds tho...
