Turbo-on my car?

I was just wondering if you could put a turbo on any car. I don't know much about turbos, and wondered how much they cost. Will one work for my car?

My mind is completely blank when it comes to engine mods. So could somebody help me?

Even if I could I would probably not, because i don't want to put any money into this car.

hmmm, if your not serious about the car i wouldn't suggest adding a turbo, because with a turbo you realy kinda need a good exhaust, intake system and good headers. So if your not going to be putting much money into the car i'd suggest waiting until you get one you like.

you can turbo anything if you have the money and some engines can handle it better than others

don't forget you'll need low compression pistons new ECU and injectors and manifold blow off valve wastegate and the turbo and some cams and belts n stuff and new exhaust (the bigger the hole the better for turbo applications)

or just put on a supercharger

intake and headers will be included in making the turbo work cuz in order to make the turbo work u will need a "turbo manifold" which will take care of headers and just put a damn filter on the front of the compressor and that takes care of intake. cut off the exhaust to straight pipes and u got exhaust taken care of (i assume a turbo cutlass ciera will be ghetto rigged enough that straight pipes wont make it any worse) and as long as u dont run much pressure and your motor is in good shape u wont need any of the stuff nsx-r-ssj20k mentioned. if u dont like the car enough to spend a lot of $ but still wanna go turbo, u can try to home fabricate the manifolds and piping, but make sure u have some from of boost control in between the turbo and the intake manifold. my neighbor blew up 7 motors in his f-150 trying to home build a supercharger kit with a unit made for a toyota truck cuz he didnt have any form of boost regulation.

It would be cheaper to get a supercharger, but there would be less net horsepower gained. However, they are cheaper, and MUCH easier to tune. A decent SC shouldn't cost more than around 4-5k if you shop around.(that should include install)
