89 Toyota Lifted Big...good Idea?????

Whats Up All....not A Clue About Toyotas.....looking At A 89 Short Bed Reg Cab Pickup With Big Lift And 36x12.5x15 Tires.....its Got A 4cyl And 5spd.. Underpowered??..junk Motors For These Cars Or No.???...like I Said, Not A Clue Its Seems Ok Runs Good And Getting It For $2000.........not Bad Just Dont Want To Get Involved In A Big Headache And Want Something Big!!!.....thanks Help Me Out Tell Me What You [email protected]

What condition is it in? Is everything built well/strong, or is it just poorly thrown together? I'm not sure about the engine, but if it has low enough gears, them it should be alright...just don't expect it to handle like a drag car!

Take it for a test drive and see what you think about it.

Be sure to shop around a little too, and compare this one to others with similar modifications and condition. I've got a friend selling a late '80's Toyota with a crate 350, 20" lift, and 44" tires for $2000. However, it is extremely underpriced!!

thanks its in ok shape needs some body work but i can do that......other than that just never drove it yet.......thanks for the reply though.....
