Question A/C odor

I'm buying a '98 XJ this week. I noticed a musty odor comming from the A/C. Any ideas of what I can do?

Re: A/C odor

It may have a plugged evaporator housing drain and possibly leaves have worked their way in to that area.

there is a Grand Cherokee SB about AC odors that may point you in an appropriate direction.

look at this site.
