well the simplest way to solve that problem, is just pull your ecu fuse out and put it back in every 100+ miles, by doing so you clear the "Memory" so it has to relearn. bad part is that you have to enter the radio security code, presets, etc.
I have seen a write up on NTPOG on how you could turn the memory on your ECU on or off by a flick of a switch. Ive considered to do this myself but im not sure how well it works. Has anyone else on this forum tried that tutorial yet? the link is

As for conversion harness's for OBDI>OBDII most 5th gen owners i know solve the problem with that method.
btw anyone know anything on that new blitz R-vit? i took a glance at the article in the new import tuner, would that solve the 5th gen OBDII problem?
