Is this the last year of the current gen?
I'm in the market for a new car and considering a 2004 Miata. Does anyone know if they are going to restyle next year? I have seen two photos of the next generation Miata and do not find it attractive. If this is the last year I may have to get it now, but as I also want to see the '05 Mustang in person. Don't want to rush unless I have to. Thanks!

I heard they are supposed to be making the miata on the same platform as the rx-8

That's the same that I have heard. The photos have a sort-of RX-8 nose that I don't think looks as good as before. It's looking more like an S2000.
