k and n intake system for 1987 cherokee 4.0

Does anybody know if the k and n fuel injection performance kit 57-1519 for a 1991 cherokee will fit on my 1987. I looked at the installation instructions and the set up looks the same as mine. Let me know if anybody has tried it.

Check out Rusys Off Road Setup for K&N Filter cheaper than the K&N FIPK and works great on my 95 XJ--think the same works for the 87 and 88

the throttle bodys are squares on the 80's 4.0's and they changed to a round design in the 90's. the stock airtubes are not interchangable so i'm pretty sure that the K&N kits are the same way

Nothing a trip to your favorite junkyard wont cure. I got the throttle body, intake and exhaust manafolds, fuel rail and 5 of 6 injectors for $100 out of a 93 grand. My 89 Manche has had no complaints.
