Re: difference between Biturbo and TwinTurbo

Bi = 2

Twin = 2

It means the same thing

In the case of the Maserati its used as a model name.
Very nice car to, if they were just a little more reliable they would be true laxury bargin, second hand they are selling for only a fraction of what they cost brand new.

Re: difference between Biturbo and TwinTurbo

The very early ones had problems with the cooling system, they used to run water pumps and water hoses.

The later ones were much much better cars however.

Unforunatly, given thier rarity parts are not often easy to find.
Finding a new starter motor could be almost impossible, unless its a genric part from someone like Lucus.
You might need to spend some money and get your one totaly rebuilt, this would invlove rewinding the wires around the core, replacing the bearings etc.
