92 ford escort starting problem

i have a problem with my wiring. the car will crank but i dont hear the eec relay turn on which means no fuel no fan. i need to know where the power goes from the ignition switch before it goes to the relays? i was getting my escort fitted for a roll cage for racing and someone took out the ignition box. when i tried to hot wire it the eec relay wires were cut and started arcing so i pulled them apart to stop it and now i have to run power from the battery to the relays to get my fan and fuel pump on. the problem i have with this is arent there different speeds at which the pump operates? also if i run dirrect my alternator doesnt work . car dies when battery disconected. i need a wiring diagram if someone has one please

My friends 1.9b Doesn't even have the EEC crap on it... completely bypassed. actually all his has is enough to crank the thing and get the dash to work.
