Smile I just need some advice...

Ok everyone, I was posting over on the Integra forums just recent and I got some advice on what I should do. I have 3000 dollars coming from my insurance because my car was totaled out. I had a 95 Mazda MX6 it was wrecked insurance totaled it out and gave me the money for the car. They gave me 3 grand for the car and so on, and that’s what I am left with.

With 300 grand could I buy a 93 prelude and if I had 4 grand what could I buy?

I need to know what to look for and what years to look for. I also would not mind buying an Integra but I don’t know what I should go with.

Re: I just need some advice...

with 3 grand you'd be able to find a decent-higher mileage base model prelude. with four, you could a afford and average-high mileage sporty Si model. it all depends on how hard and how long you look tho man. i searched for 6 months and found a mint condition Vtec lude with 57k original miles for 6 grand. anyways good luck, the preludes an incredible car!

Re: I just need some advice...

Hey guys, I posted in one of the other subjects, but got no reply. I have a 92 Lude Si with 110,000 babied miles, never driven in the winter I picked up from down south. Car is in great shape, i wanna keep the Si motor. What would it take to replace all the internals in it to make it equal to a Vtec. I know the tub is larger and make more room to do more things to make it faster. All i really care about is running a good clean 0-60 time and a good 1/4 mile time, the ret of the car is gonan be for looks is all. Let me know what I should do if u could! Thanks!

key pioece of advice. dont rush into it. dont be ina hurry to buy a prelude, because they r rare and a lot of people did drive very hard when they owned them. jus keep looking and you will find something. and test drive more than one.
