Hi guys, we have a scan tool which we use for scanning the computers in the cars but don't have a list of basic setting codes, does anyone know where to get one from? (We are currently using VW & Audi, specifically for an AGG engine). Any help will be great! Thanks. Holly

Re: Basic Setting Codes
The car's engine code can be found on a sticker on the engine. Usually the sticker has a bar-code also. Depending on the model it can be on the valve cover, timing belt cover or under the plastic dust cover.

Re: Basic Setting Codes
I think Qualität meant, OBD-II Engine/ECU setting codes and engine setting defaults.
I don't believe they're in the Bentley Service Manual. I'll 'try' and find them. |

Re: Basic Setting Codes
Oh, I guess he means the measuring block "normal" readings. I haven't seen too much on these either. This guy published these for the AWM engine: http://home.att.net/~turbo20v/OBD_Codes.htm
Some of the VW training materials have them, I think you can download them through VW's erWin site on a pay per page basis. http://www.erwin.volkswagen.de/erWinVW/ |
