Would an OEM Teg GSR exhaust work on a 6th gen Civic if repiped?

This is something I've been wondering/thinking about recently in terms of getting an exhaust system for my Civic. I've seen some NICE setups from a generic (OBX or AC Revolution) muffler and custom "2.25 piping, but I was wonderinw what effects would it be to put say a GSR exhaust on my car? What size piping would I need for it, and if installed (if it can be) minus the resonator piece, how loud would it be? I want something that would be functional, yet ear catching, but not in an annoying buzzy kind of way many exhausts I've heard, can be.

what about a 99-2000 civic si exhaust? maybe that would work better than the gsr? or if you can put a integra type r exhaust system on there, maybe a little less restriction and better looks/sound than a gsr?

Thanks I forgot to to ask about that in my above post.

How much different is the 6th gen Si exhaust, from my D16 DX exhaust? And would this exhast give similar results as a GSR exhaust?
