Alright heres the thing,
I have a 1993 Eagle Talon ESI and the problem is at night. The in dash lights will not turn on unless I press the brakes. Also the braking lights dont come on until I press the brake pedal...Meaning that all lights (except head lights) are off until I press the brake pedal. Anyone know if this is fuse related? |

Re: Funny Problem
seems like you went to best buy for some stereo work
![]() my wife's truck has a similar problem since she went to western hauler for her tow package. you need to find the brake power wire and see if its spliced into something or the coating melted off and is tapping on another source of power. thats the best electrical advice i can give you

Re: Funny Problem
some wires could have "merged" somehow...my teach was working on a VW Bug and when he turn the indicator on the car started and since it was in gear, hit the wall.... there was a metal triangle that supports something under the front trunk that somehow fused the wires so that the current coming out of the indicator line bypassed the line and entered ignition....big oopss...check to see if your problem is a freak problem like this one.
