Can't believe this is the 1st Post!

This car is awesome and no one has posted here! This is nuts!

Any way, just to give you a glimpse of the awesomeness of this car and it's styling here is a pic from EVO magazine. I know this is the Vauxhall version, but Vauxhall and Opel worked together to make the Astra and we don't have a Vauxhall forum.

If I get a response, I'll post more pics. I have some of the soon to be released production model too.

Heres your response. Belated, but a response nonetheless. The pic you show is hardly representative of this car! Thats a BTCC racer! not the real (and very dull) thing!!

i saw two guys "cruising" in an Astra convertible yesterday.... they were suited (and booted i presume), music pumped up, cheesy grins, they clearly thought they were the sh*t. How i laughed at their pitiful appearance! :hehehe:

btw, Opel = Vauxhall. Theyre one and the same, its just that Opel is called Vauxhall in the UK

Astra Coupe is for the many rather fine car.
Saab made turbo (so at least that in Opel will stay reliable)
Economy is perfect considering power and even then.

However, there is no getting away that rear end looks so prosaic end
boring that really looks like every other Astra.

Well, thanks for compliments to my nose design, for Astra is not that pretty from factory.

I’m not particularly fond of Astra, but for the value, one could get much worse

Even though i've never driven one they are still my fav.
I don't like the astra coupe that come's from the factory that much(the engine is ECOTEC), I only like the DTM race car.400hp is crazy for such a small and light package-the opel astra v8 race car.

Ecotoec = Saab

I like Ecotec , because it provides me with some promise I might
show some future generations, how does nature actually looks like.

With DTM race engine, they will be able to only read from books
how did nature look today .

Speed means nothing, it is joy od driving virtues that makes same fun.

Yes,this picture of yours highlights the face even more.

Only problem is that it is not traditional nose look of Opel.

It does have Alfa nose, but , design is not bad at all.

no, it seem's to wander from the original opel front end design, either way it look's beautiful, it must be a quick car I suppose.
