Re: new motor

ever think about just getting a newer car or does the car have some emotional value to you?

Re: new motor

The '85 MR2 is a classic ... first year made.
There are very few cars as fun to drive as the MK1 MR2. So why get rid of it?? I've missed them so much I finally bought one again ... I just picked an '86 to use as a daily driver.

nivekwilson, the 4AGE engine was used in many, many different Toyotas so locating a used one should not be hard. You can try xcars or the MR2 board ... even junkyards.

Here is a Toyota specific junk yard:

Japanse engine importers (might even be able to get a warranty!)
