Driver Side window will not go up

I have a 1997 Jimmy with the Driver side window stuck in the down position. What's entailed in replacing the motor if needed? How do you get the side panel off.

Thanks,
Randy

Re: Driver Side window will not go up

Hey,
The diagram is on the "Chevrolet Blazer" site under the Body/Doors sub-heading, and it should show all of the steps to replace this thing. I'm looking at it now, as I unfortunately have the same problem with my PASSENGER window *sigh*

Yeah, I'm going to test each leg of the circuit (motor, switch and wiring)
I'm REALLY hoping it's a ground fault (#1 problem...no ground or circuit)
and then I'll test all the remaining legs of the circuit. BUT FIRST.........I have to take the door apart.....so as to get to the parts...Y'unnerstand?
