d16a6 into dx, wiring
hey i was just wonderin, if i put a d16a6 in my dx, do i still have to do the dpfi to mpfi wiring. cause i was wonderin if i could do this swap by myself with my dad, and dont really want to have to do any hard wiring. thanks

yes, you would have to still convert your wiring harness to mpfi. you will have to do that no matter what swap you do.

okay, let me say that you dont *have* to do the wiring, like if you are in a pinch with a blown motor and have no other choice and just need a factory replacement.
If you want any kind of performance at all, then yes, you must switch to MPFI. the wiring is really not that hard at all. If you can install a car stereo, you can convert to MPFI. |
