C320 - Need Advice
I am in the market for a C320 with the following options, priced at invoice: C2($1,274), C3 ($405), C4 ($763), C6 ($2,799), xenon lights ($809), metallic paint ($595), and the 6 CD changer (without the Motorola phone, $800). A special order charge also applies for $1,000. Destination is $665. I went to Helms Bros. in Bayside, NY and got a final quote for $44,345 before tax. I was able to get the dealer to knock off $200 for their advertising fees, but considering there is currently a 3% holdback off of total MSRP, is this a fair price? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MB C320
Hi - Re negotiating for your MB 320, they are not doing much negotiating out there! I just ordered a MB 320 Wagon with C2, C4, automatic, 6 CD changer, heated seats, upgrade paint and it had to be "special ordered" but I did not pay a "special order" fee. With a 3% holdback, special orders are a dream come true for the dealer. I was able to get them to knock off $600. ps, my dealer was in Daytona Beach. Good luck! :flash:
