2001 Tahoe Traction Assist

Any of you Tahoe enthusiast had this problem. On my 2001 Hoe my traction assist button is normally in the on position at all times. And as those with Hoe's with traction assist know that when the traction light is off means the traction assist is on. During wet driving the traction light comes on by itself indicating that it has turn itself off. I cannot get it to rest itself until I turn the vehicle off. Any similiar problems out there in Hoe land. Thanks...

When the wheels slip, the traction assist light will flicker indicating that it's working. If it stays on solid, then it is disengaged for some reason and may need to be looked at. Also, remember that if you take it out of Drive or 3rd, it will also turn off traction assist (I know for sure that if you put it in 1st gear it will turn it off, not sure about other gears).

Anyway, that's what I've noticed...
