how many do you think we will get per year????
with the wrx's availability (well, not at first) do you think it will be easy to get your hands on one if you dont get on the waiting list right away?? i know it will be hard at first, but will they keep coming? or just one small shipment?

i dont really care, as long as i get one..a blue one..lol actually i am not sure, i heard a lot of rumors..1 per dealership, or 10 per dealership..id ont know..hopefuilly there wont be to long of a wait..i wish they can release it this summer insead of jan 2003

10 per dealership? Not all dealerships
I placed a deposit on an EVO 7 and the dealership (The largest in the area) told me they were allowed 10.....but not all dealerships would get 10 - only the top dealerships......this makes sense because that is how Ford distributed the Cobra R and how Chevy distributed the Z06 Corvette. Also, this dealership said they would get the cars before other dealerships in the area......due to their top sales. So you might see your car sooner if you go with a big dealership.

Thats what I did. There are about 10 Mitsu dealers in my area. I went with the one that looked the biggest and the one that I have heard the most about. When I went there I was 6th on the waiting list for an Evo. The guy claimed that he went through the exact same thing with the 3000GT and that his dealership had the most in in my area. We'll see.

oh, one more question, if i dont get on the waiting list right now, or at least untill we get the specs for the u.s. will i still be able to get one eventually???(like within six months from when i order it if it is already out when i order it)??

Maybe....
None of us knows for sure how many we'll get, how many will be sent o each dealership, and how many will be in the entire year's shipment. As soon as any of us gets confirmation, I'm sure we'll all know. Please keep in mind, however, that car dealerships are institutionally full of crap; it's a requirement for them (I'm pretty sure there are metrics they have to follow for lies and broken agreements). I, at least, will have to hear it directly from Mitsu to believe it.
