Bmw

Yes, I Agree, BMW's are indeed good cars. I just don't like the image associated witht the people who drive them. Almost all the time you see a newer bmw driver, they are always driving like they are high and mighty. why?. almost anybody can afford a beemer, especially where I live. I have an Audi s4, and I used to have a 1998 328is. that car was a maintnance nightmare. it looked good though. the car became unrelaiable after 50k miles. Who cares if you drive a Beemer? I have traveled all over europe, including Germany, the most popular cars by far are Mercedes-Benz, especially in France where everyother car is a mercedes or audi. Most foreign embassy's use the Audi A8 and S-Class for their cars, why? becuse they are the best. the only people I see driving BMWs are people who have image problems. I had an image problem in high shcool when I had my beemer, I thought I was the shit. now I have taken a step up by buying an Audi s4 (Audi shares parts with Porsche, VW and Bently by the way) That is the reason there are more BMW sales here than in Europe becuase Americans have image problems. Buy a German car because it is fun, reliable, safe and fast, not because you want to look cool. Audi, Mercedes and Porsche will never let you down,a BMW might(especially with the new 5-series, what is that thing, a spaceship?)

ya im not seeing the point either. as far as the whole reliablility thing after 50,000 mi, I have a '95 325i with 90,000 mi on it and I havent had a problem yet. who cares what the people in europe drive either. last time i checked most people dont buy a car based on what people in europe drive. and, where i live people buy bmws for the fun of driving them, not for what they look like driving them. oh and another thing, no one cares that audi shares parts with porsche, vw and bently. im pretty sure bmw makes the engines and other parts (or did) for the range rovers and rolls royces. mercedes also shares parts with chrysler. and you cant say mercedes and audi dont have some ugly cars. the TT looks more like a space ship to me than the new 5's. and mercedes, the m-class is rather ugly if you ask me.
