Question 2002 GTI & IPOD

Hello everyone, I'm JP and I was wondering if anyone would know of an adaptor, (not FM modulated) for my double din Monsoon stereo and my IPOD? I know of one for a single DIn but I was wondering if anyone would know of one for a double din? I appreciate your help...

try going to crutchfield.com and sending them an e-mail, it has always worked for me.... then again you could always get an FM transmitter and not have to worry bout any wires.

Check your audio connections in the trunk. There should be an input and I believe it has RCA plugs. You can get a cord from radio shack that you can run to the front seat that will plug into the Ipod. I think that's how my brother in law had it. I'll give him a call tomorrow and double check. Send me an IM and remind me.

Don't bother responding to me in this thread, I rarely check these Forums but I'm available on AIM at NovaKnowledgeNow.

Re: 2002 GTI & IPOD

You should take a look at www.mp3yourcar.com I picked up one of these units and I am extremely happy with it. It gives you the details to how it works on the site but in short it hooks to your deck using the CD changer plug. Sound quality is really good and it was incredibly easy to install.

Did you guys hear about monster cable making a product like this? It seems like they are coping what is all ready on the market and are trying to make it more pleasing to the eye. I think they are going to charge about 200 dollars a unit and the ones out now are around 180.
