95 Altima, possible engine swap?

Is there a higher HP engine I can swap into my 1995 Nissan Altima SE?

Does anyone know? I mean, don't get me wrong....my 150hp stock engine is nice, and my aftermarket bolt on peices are all fine and dandy...but I'd like to have a higher horsepower engine.

is there a possible swap?

U13 SR20DET should fit in nicely...

You may as well just get a turbo kit though.

dude a SR20DET does not just drop into an altima's engine bay. there is all kinds of fabrication to be done. just upgrade the ka24de. unless you have approximately $8000 to drop that sr20det in, and that i dont think is covering the moter price.

Wow and here I was just about to ask how much it might cost to drop in (if possible) a RB20DET LOL

You can get a turbonetics turbocharger (8psi) for about 4k. The kit comes with everything you need (intercooler included). Just check out Nopi.com

i'd just turbo that KA of yours. get yourself a T3/T4 hybrid turbo....and ya i was lookin into doin a crazy swap when i first got my alty....the rb26dett lol, but the fab costs alone would be above 20k.
