1980 trans. swap

i have a 1980 manual k10 p/u and i have a auto. trans. to go in it,and i was wondering if it would bolt up since the auto is out of a 2wd?

It should bolt up fine. Make sure the rear tranny mount is the same. If you have a 4x4, and your auto transmission is for a 2 wheel drive, you will have to trim the output shaft with a grinder to match the same length as the 4 wheel drive. I think the output shaft on the 4x4 model is shorter so it can bolt up to a transfer case.
