Unhappy 96 Jimmy Fuel pump question

How hard is it to drop the fuel tank? Is that the only way to get to the pump? Any tips????

Thanks.....

We just changed the fuel pump and the only problem we ran across was the hose to the gas tank. GMC made it tough to get to the clamps so we removed the hose from the body where you put the gas in. Unscrewed the cap holder and that is what holds it in. Sorry to say my Jimmy still doesn't run after installing a new pump.

Fuel Pump

The hardest part is getting it to actual fall, there seemed to be an adhesive holding mine to the body, lots of kicking LOL. And yeah, the filling hose takes lots of patience. Just keep wiggling the tank! Hope it helps.
