My mate has a 1994 dodge spirit. the other day he had to apply his brakes shaply to avoid somone cutting in and the engine stalled. Now it wont start at all. does the car have a fuel cutoff or could it be air in the fuel line. The fuel gauge is at half full. Any help would be aprecated Isnibs. |

How much mechanical ablility does your friend have? If the car has a 2.5 4-cyl, it isn't too bad. I suggest purchasing or coping pages from a Haynes or Chilton's manual. I have replaced the TB on an '86 Plymouth Turismo (2.2 4-cyl) and replaced the head on an '89 Spirit (2.5 4-cyl).
Just out of curiosity, where are you located.... I am junking out my Spirit, maybe your friend would be interested in the rebuilt head, it has approx. 5 - 10k miles on it (p/s, body and tires are shot and don't want to stick any more $ into it.). Let me know how things work out.... |

My friend's spirit is a six cylinder 3 Ltr. He was decided to scrap the car as he knows that the water pump needs replaced and together with the cost of the timing belt it is not worth it
Thanks for the info and offer of the rebuilt head. I am located in Toronto Canada |
