Question Engine Miss

Just purchased a 99 3/4 SUburban, 7.4. Recently had the truck serviced (all fluids changed) and the plugs, ignition wires, cap and rotor as well as the fuel filter have been replaced. The fuel injectors and throttle body were serviced (flushed, cleaned, whatever the dealer does) so I would know the condition of the truck. I know have what seems like a miss or hesitation on idle and as I just begin to accelerate. I have no noticible miss any other time. No SES light or anyother indication that something is wrong. I was told that these engines just do that from a dealer in the area, I don't buy that logic. Anyone else experience this problem?

Same situation here. I've owned several big blocks and it seems that the newer it is, the worse! My current '97 has 80K on it. I just did plugs, wires, cap, rotor. My buddy was over and told me I might need a new set of wires because it was skipping! (Like an off-beat drummer!) With these motors you only need worry about a skip under load. I will say that oddly enough if I raise the octane of the fuel the skip dimishes slightly in the hot weather.

You guys just made my day!
I've been going nuts trying to get rid of the "miss" on my '99.
I did the bosch plug fiasco, tune up, let a dealer work on it, and went back to delco plugs. It ran better for a while. At least now I know!
One less thing for me to obsses about.
Thanks

Question

So I'm reading all this and feeling foolish because I went for the gusto and installed Bosch +4. Now I'm wondering, when you change back to AC plugs does the miss diminish, or does it stay the same? Also whenchanging to the AC plugs what type were they (Rapid fire, stock, etc)? Also anyone operating an after market exhaust? I'm thinking of installing a Flowmaster 50 big block muffler and duals. Any recomendations are appreciated.
