Only one speaker left

Hi guys, asked this before with no response... hopefully a new posting will generate response

On my 96 blazer, my rear speakers failed to work years ago.. now, my right hand speaker only works intermentedly (sp?)... more off than on..

I'm down to one mono speaker...just like my 64 VW AM radio from many decades ago..

has anyone experienced the same, and know of the solution..

thanks

B

Re: Only one speaker left

Take the speakers out and check your connections. If you listen to music loud then it may rattle the connections loose. if not then i dunno.

Re: Only one speaker left

We can't really help you on that bro.

Go look at the speakers for yourself.

My speakers were bad to.

All of my speakers have gone bad 1 by 1. Had to buy replacements and install myself. Not to hard.

I have a bad rear speaker on my 99. How do the door panels come off?

Re: Only one speaker left

To remove the rear door panels. unscrew the door handle cover. then pry up the little plastic plate inside the armrest. unscrew the bolt in there. then pry open the door panel. you have to pull it because there are about 5 to 10 little pressure hooks but they just pop on and off. Good luck.

And have some extras handy.

The snaps will sometimes break.

Re: Only one speaker left

if replacement doesn't work the next best thing is to gut the factory wires and run your own best to go with the smallest number you can, not the smallest wire!
