Well, if you'd like to stick around further, I'd advise against that sort of posting in the future.

Just a friendly reminder from your resident moderator.

Re: A team name

Why don't you make your team the name of the mountain your team is best at. Or even Team Sprinter? I mean you all do drive Toyota Trueno Sprinters. Or just bite off one from the anime. Call yourselves Project D

Re: A team name

On a second note. Beware of Irohazaka!! I swear that course is anti-trueno...I can't get out of third gear on that course. Also, no matter what Downhill Akina is the best course for the 86.

Re: A team name

yeah but taking people to home course-stages is just as cheap as dc2 taking people to irohazaka in version 2. on another note, you shouldn't have that much trouble getting into fourth on irohazaka with a trueno for a lotta the straights after the turns. if you manage to take the turns a little bit cleaner your fourth gear will kick in, it won't win you any races but it'll help your time.

Re: A team name

Not really. I've noticed not many people can take the downhill it wet. So someone could always choose the wet option. Even downhill snow is difficult. Still downhill akina.

And I've seen guys in other cars putting out better times than I do. Someone In an RX-8 does 3'9 another guy in a skyline does 3'11

But, yeah. I wish the guy that started this thread would say something.

wet on akina or wet on irohazaka? please clarify more. i think you said your akina time is 3'14? you REALLY needa work on just normal driving on akina. you should be able to muster a 3'06 without feint or 5-in-4 out. not hitting any walls would really help this out a lot.

Re: A team name

i didn't mean it like that. using these techniques are for experienced players meaning that if you haven't achieved a certain amount of time you really shouldn't try it. 3'14 on akina with a trueno, you will be able to get a LOT faster on it, trust me. but until then... i reccomend just learning the course more. then after you get a lower time, then try these techniques.
