quick ?
Anyone know why they lowered the hp for the base model GT around the late 90's? Also if any 1 has a link of the different looks of the GT from each year id appreciate it thx.

the horsepowered was lowered because an SOHC motor was put in place of the DOHC motor, of course, i do not know why mitsubishi decided to drop in the SOHC motor

Yeah, the Stealth's production was stopped after 96, I think Mitsu saw that the SOHC Stealths were selling and decided to try taking over that market...as the SL and base were pretty much the same. So they 'downgraded' the base in 97 to an SOHC, so the base model was even more of a 'base' and had greater variance from the SL. Just my suspisions.
