Re: best engine cleaner/degreaser

i use simple green. using it the first time you may want to spray it on and scrub around in the engine bay. then you just hose it off.
to maintain the cleanliness, you just spray on the simple green and hose it off whenever you feel the need.

Simple Green works well just DO NOT let it dry on your paint. Any citrus degreaser will also work well. Just make sure to clean with the engine slightly warmed up - 5-10min from cold. Never clean a hot engine.

The best way to clean an engine is with a steam cleaner.

Greased lighting also works well, just dont let it sit on the plastics too long

A Little Off The Subject But Still Usefull. There Is A Little Wax Like Substance Called "mothers." That Stuff Is The Shit. It's Pretty Much A Metal Polish That Brings Out Shine. They Sell That At Auto Zone, Napa, Schucks, Etc. Try It, It Works Wonders. With A Little Extra Effort, It Makes It So You Can See Your Reflection. Serious.
