what are trouble spots on 98 lesabre? might buy one

I am looking at a 1998 LeSabre. Would like to know from you owners out there what trouble spots are on this year and model. This only has 34000 miles on it. Also they rate the mileage at 20 city and 29 hwy. MY old century gets better than is rated so was wondering if you are getting better mileage than rated?

Thanks

Thumbs up 98 LaSabre

Things I would look for:

COOLENT: Is the level in radiator and tank propper?
Do I see coolent anywhere near intake manafold?
Is the coolent green or orange? (should be orange).
Is the oil milky, dirty or clear?

Transaxcle: Are ALL the mounting bolts installed? Look for fresh
wrench marks.

RIDE: Is it a smooth ride?
Does it go faster down hills and grades?
Do you have to use the breaks alot?
Watch tach (RPM) when you test drive.
Check driver seat stop latch for breakage.

RADIO: Does the tape casette still eject properly?

It is a great car, great ride. Don't pay more than $3,000 to $6,000.
Let me know how it works out for you.
