high comression and supercharger??? need 10 in quarter!!
I've got a V6 2000 mustang with theses mods
i've already had my head resurfaced .040 and my pistons fly cut, crank hardend rods, new cam with 617 lift, 292 duration, full port and polish, cold air intake, chip, NOS intercoolent system, opened header exuast, full-lok possitrak, 315/40zr17 on the back. My compression is right at 12.1:1 (the check said 12.063) i'm trying to get under 10 secound quarter mile... i'm running 10.21 now(best dial time at nopi) Will she blow if i add a supercharger??? |

10.21 in the Q! How much NOS are you running? There's no way your running this on the street......are you?

if you stick a blower on a 12:1 motor you wont' be able to run much boost at all without detonation. and you'd have to run a lot less timing and race gas to make it work.
are you running auto or manual? are you hookign up? what are yoru 60 ft times like? i'd say some suspension upgrades might drop those 2 tenths.... and there's always more nitrous to be had.
