Nice Neighbour

Ive got the nicest neighbour...I came home today and he calls me over and hands me this bottle of Orvieto, which is Italian white wine. Almost everyday he see's me, he offers me imported alcohol. The man's 80 years old, lives by himself because his wife passed away 3 years ago, but he's dating again, what a PIMP!
Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else has nice neighbours, instead of the stereotypical annoying one...which I also have, but thats another story

My neighbour is an idiot. We had a storm come through that broke a tree in half, leaving the dead trunk standing about 20 feet in the air with single, dead, branch sticking out to the side. Not only that, but the tree was also hollow on the inside. Being the genius he is (he's actually a nuclear engineer, believe it or not) he mixed concrete and filled the hollow spot in the tree with it. When I asked him what he intended to do when he finally wanted it cut down, he replied "Oh...I didn't think about that..."

Lucky bastard, I wish I could have a neighbour who gives away alcohol.

Last year in the snow storm we had (one of many) the tree next to both our garages had one of its big branches break off and fell in front of the entryway to both garages. He got a bunch of his guys and had the tree cut up in no time flat before we got home that night.

BTW I returned the favor a few months after in a windy day when another tree near by fell over and we called up my friend inthe city parks department and they came over that morning and cleared it away.

Now if I can only say the same for those jerks two houses down that play that bongo bongo music like if its a disco.

nope my neighbor is a moron. 2 days after we moved in im comin home from school to find them walking out of my house. no one was home, they said o we were just looking around, the neighborly thing to do. i told them i was gonna beat their ass if they came near the house again. then she gets all o well jeez, we were just looking. WHO in the hell JUST looks at someones stuff they never met? dumbasses.

u guys r lucky. my neighbor on the right is an 80 year old man who walks around his house naked all day....and his porch is all windows. fuck. my other neighbor thinks hes in the north woods or something. He runs a wood burning stove all day an it make my whole street smell like shit, and he gets up early in the morning to chop wood he got from the forest with a fucking chain saw at like 6 am. I swear to god. im going to ... make them... dissappear.... one day.

I've got 6 apartments in my building, 2 on each floor. The one next to me is a single hot gay guy. Below me in their 1 bedroom apt, is a couple on welfare with 2 kids. Next to them is a few college girls (no they aren't hot). and on the bottom floor i think one apt is empty, the other one is full of a ton of like 16 year old girls who run around half naked all the time.

I dont really talk to any of them except the girl under me on welfare. Shes constantly telling me how to live my life so I just "water my plants" when I know shes sitting on her balcony.

I have neighbors that came from Canada. They moved in about 5 years ago next to our house. They are very nice. They like to give us treats during holidays and invite us to dinners. They are really nice neighbors.

Errrmmm.....As you can see I was only joking, but I have pretty decent neighbours, but once I had one who always played wierd Italian music. He died.

I don't really know my neighbors that well, I have to admit. They're mostly all older people. Lots of times, I find them just sit around a barbeque, drinking beer. That's their life, I guess.

My other neighbour is cool though. He's in to Iron Maiden and shit, and has a brother who works in a guitar shop I go to all the time (found that out the hard way! I went to take my guitar for repairs, and I had to put my address down, and he's like "mm...that sounds familiar, I think you live next door to my brother!"

all my neighbors are cool... the house on the left is empty and has been for 7 years...the house on the right 4 college chicks rent - been there done that... and the house 2 down on the right are a couple of friends! no one on my block gives a shit about anything! being loud and partying is a normal day to day thing on my block!
