OBX-R cams ????

Alright I was surfing Ebay and I cam across these OBX-R cams

Notes: Valvetrain upgrade recommended

Type: Stage II
Lift/Duration: IN. 0485, 266; EX. 0.466, 262
Notes: Valvetrain upgrade required

Type: Stage III
Lift/Duration: IN. 0504, 270; EX. 0.465, 279
Notes: Valvetrain upgrade required

Aggressive lobe setting for racing applications

Larger lift produces maximum horsepower at all rpm ranges

Precision machined from forged billet 4130 chrome moly steel rod

Lightweight hollow design for optimum torque

Computer balanced for smooth idling

Compatible with naturally aspirated engines, turbo or supercharged engines

Lifetime warranty against all manufacturer defects

they sell for 335$ US for the DOHC Vtec B-series motors and they have SOHC Vtec cams as well...

It looks like good specs to me and overall i found the OBX stuff to be pretty desent quality... not amazing or anything but desent.

any feedback on these ?

i have never heard of obx making cams. most of there stuff is pretty crappy anyways, idk why the cams would change from there crappy designs.

if it were me i wouldnt get them. yeah they may have a warranty for the cams, but they aint got no warranty when there cams break and ruin your whole head or even maybe yoru whole motor. dont go cheap on engine parts.

Chances are they are buying their cams from a big company or having someone grind them for OBX, so they can't be that crappy of quality, not like other mod parts at least. It's a cam, they can't have it blowing up your whole engine. OBX is also ironically selling a helical LSD unit under their brand name. Not a poser LSD like Phantom Grip, but a helical unit similar to the one that Quaife makes. And best news of it is it's only about $400!!!

yeah but a lsd for 400, will probably oem quality and wont hold up to big hp numbers.

i mean they maybe good cams, maybe not. no one i know runs them, if you want to be a guinea pig let us know how it works on how much hp your making and rate of valve springs you are using
