|
HELP:91 civic 4spd w/ls motor
i put a 92 ls motor in my 91 civic standard and it has been sitting for like 6 months now and wont start. my wiring is all f'ed upcuase i spliced into my old harness. right now the motor has the 92 injectors and distributor, should i change them to the 90-91. i also do not know which harness to use. any help would be great considering i have been bumming rides for about 6 months.

yeah..change both to 90-91.. 92 stuff is OBD1 and different..

it depends on what ECU you're using. If you use an OBD0 ECU, then you need to use OBD0 distributor and/or obd1 injectors with resistor box, or obd0 injectors with ressitor box. either way, you need a resistor box wired with the injectors in OBD0.
If you are converting to OBD1, keep your distributor and injectors. |

i am using obd-0 ecu and i can pick the injectors and distributor up cheap from a friend. before my swap i was running mpfi on my 1.5. so what harness sould i use?

yes i have an old one off like a 1st gen teg that i was running on my 1.5. but i have one of the newer ones laying in my garage.

ok.. if you're using an injector resistor box, def. change to the 88-91 injectors..

my harness is no longer useable cuase my friend tried splicing into it and i didnt do my mpfi conversion myself so i do not know which harness to use. you think i should change to 88-91 civic injectors instead of 90-91 integra injctors?
