No Headlights!

I have been having trouble with my lighting for some time. I have a 95 Cherokee Sport. When I would pull my lights on, I would not have front parking lights only rears. Now, When pull on, I get no headlights either. The high beams won't click on and stay on. I unplugged/cleaned out the harness plug(front left) and now I can't even get the high beams to flash. Any Help is appreciated!!!

I had this happen on a different type of car, the switch was dirty. I had to take the steering column apart, clean the switch and put it back together (three times). It was covered with dust and lint. The parts were greased at the factory. I guess it got all mucked up.
I drive with the windows open as much as possible. This could contribute to the problem.

You haven't mentioned if it's blowing fuses? Have a look at the wire going to the Transmission position indicator globe, it shorts to ground and does all of you're problems.

Hope this is good for you. Cool Australia.
