P71 losing power

I have a 94 P71, and it eats LOTS of gas, surges a bit, during accleration it looses power and issint as fast as it once was. i know they are fast, but it hasant been running good at all. it has a 96 G.Marquis motor in it. other than that, its in great shape. does any1 have a clue what it is? Thanks

it just passed the emmison tests the other day too

I would start with cleaning the MAF, and then checking the fuel economy again. You should see 16-20 MPG if it's driven hard.
