Question on AEM Pulleys
K i have a quick question for poeple that have aem pulleys.
What comes in that set? its 2 pulleys and a belt right? i was wondering what the belt was its not a timing belt by any chance is it? If anyone can tell me what the kit actualy comes with, like what the 2 pulleys are and what the belt is, i used to know but forgot what the pulleys were one of them is the alternator isnt it? |

One of the pulleys is for the alternator and the other is for the water pump. Those are you two basic things that are gonna give the most power. It doesnt come with a belt so just use your stock one. oh and P.S. no it's not a timing belt.

I don't know what kit you guys have seen but every AEM pulley set I've ever seen is an alternator and a power steering pulley complete with two belts because aftermarket pulleys are smaller than factory=different belt sizes. I have unorthodox underdrive pulley=all new belts, and I just got an AEM power steering pulley=going to need new belt. Oh, also, unless you take the cover off that is next to your valve cover you can't even see your timing belt.

my lights dim a little when i've got the music up real loud, maybe i should buy a ho alternator
