Re: volfenhag

Bandpass is a negative... I went and heard a friend's duals in a bandpass... very peaky subs. The song doesnt even sound like a song you hear so many random loud parts... and random soft parts

Re: volfenhag

i heard some 10's in a ported box. The head unit was a pioneer and had the option to have the subs reversed. they sounded tight. I was surprised

my friend also told me that it was a bad idea to have 2 12" subs and 2 15" subs at the same time, is that true?

Re: volfenhag

How about you ditch either the two 12" or two 15" subs and buy a better brand for the same price? That config that you want just isn't gonna work. And I agree with Haibane: negative on the bandpass.

How much do you want to spend and what amp do you have/plan to use with the subs?

Re: volfenhag

i have 4 völfenhag 10" dual voice coil subs in my 00' malibu, and two 1600 watt völfenhag amps, and honestly its the best system i've ever had, and i gone through alpine, kenwood, and memphis subs and amps, but i like völfenhag the best.

Re: volfenhag

Try a 12 or 15 in a large custom box, it could out perform 4 subs, with 4 you priobably wont have enough room to get full potential from each sub. Like they said get 1 quality sub and a big box for it. You could be surprised
