Clearing a code and check engine light
I recently replaced a transmission output speed sensor because of a p0720 code.
Do I need to disconnect the battery to reset the computer? Will the check engine light eventually go off if the computer is not reset? Tony |

Re: Clearing a code and check engine light
OBDII system? If so, call the nearest Autozone or O'Reiley's and see if they will turn off the Service Engine light. Most of the parts stores I deal with will scan and clear codes for free.
