Question 98 EB Power door locks

I have a problem with the driver side power door lock, it works when pressed to lock all doors, but does not work to unlock doors. The passenger side works for both locking and unlocking. It is a hassel having to go to the passenger side to unlock all doors.

Any ideas ?
thanks-alex

Re: 98 EB Power door locks

you'll find a pink and light green wire where the harness
comes from the body to the door, and it will be broken.
there is a rubber seal that the harness runs through.
pull the black tie strap down and then the seal,to expose the harness.

The Problem may be more simple. I'm having the same problem and after reading some posts here and opening my door up and looking it seams as tho the problem is a spring that holds the rod that runs from the keylock to the acuator is really weak or just broke. You might wana check that before you mess with the wires.
