In process of buying 97 Prelude
Im right now in the process of buying a 97 prelude base
97 Prelude Silver 17" rims Lip Kit Manual 106k miles New Clutch $7000 What do you think? Since i currently own a turbo car, I know its not going to be nearly as fast, yet something nice to drive around in. Worth it for the price?

Re: In process of buying 97 Prelude
definitely if there is no rust or body damage. i bought my 97 with 92000 miles for 7250. All mine had was an exhaust and a vtec controller. go for it.

Re: In process of buying 97 Prelude
I'm sour on the bumper and rims. It means the car has been raced.

I honestly believe the price is good for this car. Hell its 500 below KBB value, and most people dont sell these things for KBB. ( i know the kid too. so i know he didnt beat on it)

Well, I bought the car today. The guy owns his own paint shop, so hes painting the side skirt and front lip for free. To top it off, the kid told me it was a 97 base model. Me actually using the car.. its the SH model. 106k miles $7,000 not too shabby eh?

Re: In process of buying 97 Prelude
well you should be able to tell if its the SH or base, it should say it on the back, if not the title and papers should say it somewhere, but either way around i think 7k is a good price for that, nice to have you in the FAM , keep it REAL!!
