Where is the PCV Valve on 93 cutlass supreme 3.1L

I would love to check and most likely replace the PCV valve... if I could only find where it is?

Hello,
after just having torn the engine apart on my 3.1 MFI 1991 olds, I can tell you that it is at the rear set cylinders of the engine, on the top of the rear valve cover almost in the center. its almost impossible to see, I only found mine after the top air plenum was removed. the rubber hose from the valve also attaches to the under side of the plenum, and you really do have to pull it off to see that.
I think I will correct the above statement, it is impossible to see unless you remove the MAP sensor assembly at the plenum rear as well as the vacumn line from the brakes. Then, you might be ableto get at it,, I hope you have a good reason to check this!

Bruce

Thanks Bruce,
Well to be honest the car has 90,000 miles on it and it seem a little sluggish and rough idle. I'm going to replace plugs and wires. Just wanted to replace the PVC valve at the same time. When I remove the motor mounts the engine will come forward to replace the plugs and wires in the rear. Will I have a better look at the location of the PCV valve at that time?

Thanks so much for your time,
Matt
