If the car never had a stereo or speakers in it before, i recommend you take the sucker to a stereo shop and have them install it. This is gonna require alot of cutting, wire running, re-finishing, etc. to have things put in.

Stereo
What year and make is the vehicle? I installed a few stereo's and speakers in vehicles before. I installed a CD Player, 10 disc changer, amp, 8" woofers, new speakers in my 99 F-150 before. I also installed a new CD Player in my wife's 01 Escort. What kind of stereo and speakers are you installing? Does the vehicle you are installing it in have the factory wiring harness (wires to connect stereo to speakers and power) or no wires at all? It sounds complicated at first, but once you get started, it will become a breeze.
